Beautiful riverside location, absolutely no passing cars thanks to the barricade. Parking spaces on both sides, very calm atmosphere, and picnic tables for enjoying the scenery. Ideal quiet overnight stop!

Very uncomfortable place to stay.

Nice and quiet spot, easy access, we were alone, we parked in front of the pontoon. No facilities (no toilets, no water) but 5 minutes drive from the city Sale.

Awesome Free Camp on dead end road. Bridge History worth a look. Fish Jumping however no luck catching one

Great spot to stay the night! Right in the river and there is nothing else around so the stars were spectacular! Only 1 other caravan there and us, we will definitely go back!

Note the signs says bridge opens Saturday and Sunday 3pm and 4pm but be aware it's open between these times as it takes 30 minutes to open. We'll worth watching but if like us you cross before it opens you've a wait until you can cross back. It's worth the wait. Oh it's also a nice place to stay very quiet and a 15 minute bicycle ride along a well maintained path through the wetlands to Sale.

Nice and quiet place to spend the night. You can reach a shopping center in Sale within 10 minutes where you can buy groceries and use their toilets.
