A great little stop. Even if you aren’t staying over night we thoroughly recommend that you take the short walk to see the grass trees the site is named after. It’s only a 600m gentle, round walk and the trees are amazing. A great way to break any journey

This is only a north bound rest stop, & it doesn’t indicate that, we were heading to Mel & got caught as it took us too far out of our way, then had to travel 7 km to get back across the Hwy to head south again, still lots truck noise but ok for a stop over. Definitely if heading south stop at Coach Rd rest stop.

Good for a one night stay. However it is a very popular toilet stop for highway travelers meaning throughout the night there are constant car doors opening and shutting and lots of chatter throughout the night as people who are not staying pass through.

Rest stop right on the highway. Noise is scarce. Flush toilets, BBQ grills, but no drinking water. Good free campsite. V??J
