Was here 5 yrs ago.. Water was really low. Right up to tree line now.. Camped almost on the waters edge. No one around during the week, I was there. SELF CONT camping no drinking water and one drop dunny.. Big area..DOGS under control, allowed. Lots of access to bank fishing. Trout,redfin,tench,carp,yellow belly(night) and cod. Multiple 4x4 boat ramps... Heaps of bird life,from Maggie's to parrots and Eagles. Camp FIRES allowed . NO goannas and didn't see any snakes or foxes. No parallisist TICKS this is one of the our last safe areas to free camp with dogs and fires... Not many left in Vic. NO PERMIT REQUIRED keep it clean for others to enjoy ? ??

In terms of free campsites, it's a great enjoyment; open land and dry toilets (no smell), a little campfire (but you can create one yourself), no ovens and hot showers, next to a lake where you can swim or any water Activities, it feels good to live here for three days. The facilities listed doesn’t really exist... There’s no barbecue, cooking shelter and hot shower... Also the toilet is not the flush type (it’s a compost type)... But I loved the view of lake from here and the camping area is nice.

There are so many campsite along the lake. Not only the 6 locations showed on the app. This one has toilet and can light up camp fire. No shower and drinking water as others sites here. Can be super busy at weekend!
