When I drove out to this place in Nov 25 I found gravel road fine in my 2wd van but couldnt enter campground as had a sloping rutted entry & sign stating 4wd only yet that was not on flyer for campsites I got from tourist office. Luckily I could turn around as tree down over road just after entry. I walked down in the rain to check out grounds: no campers & grass long but fast flowing river was impressive. I hope entry is improved & info centre told as it would be a relaxing place to stay.

Large peaceful campsite Clean loos River access Be aware there is an 18km gravel road to access which is very steep and corrugated in places!!

Beautiful spot right next to the snowy river, lots of space, good shady spots, picnic tables and four drop toilets

Loved this campsite. Beautiful spot, river all the way around, a nice spot for a dip or a paddle. Longish dirt road to get in but very doable in a 2WD. No phone reception, lots of site choices with fireplaces. Loved it here

Awesome well kept camping spots plenty of spots so you can camp away from others however we had all sites to ourselves. Signage says 4wd access however it’s a corrugated road all the way super easy. If you take your time on the road then easily take a caravan all the way to the end. Basic clean long drop toilets 5stars

Closed until august...

Roads reopened again! Amazing spot

The road is closed, cause of the bushfires. Too bad.

Beautiful! We drove a 2WD that is high on it's wheels, so no problems for us while driving the gravel road. Not suitable for every car.. You camp next to the river, allowed to make a little campfire, the stars were so clear and at night we heard the dingo's howling. Real camping!

It’s a real nice place in the middle of nowhere. Take in mind that you have to cross a 14km gravel road what is not suitable for every car....
