perhaps one of the nicest free sites in the area. BBQs, seating arrangements, mostly clean public toilets but BYO handsoap. Amazing view in the morning and evening

Lovely free camp on the river, lots of spots to pull in. Good Optus signal, some under cover tables and bathrooms available.

Great 24 hour free camp. Plenty of room, bbqs & tables with toilet block. States on signage- campers & caravans only, no tents, however there were plenty with swags & cars with rooftop tents so not sure it’s monitored at all, only issue with that is they all seem to want to camp right on top of you. Plenty of people with dogs, none on leads so be prepared for the campers who do whatever they want & unfortunately leave mess. Beautiful lake view & great spot for a swim

Really very beautiful, stunning view on the lake. Lots of parking space, although tends to get quite busy. Arriving a bit earlier (around 5 or earlier) will get you a parking spot though. Cannot park off-road with your 4x4 below the waterline however, as park ranger comes to check regularly. No probs though: we recommend taking a picknick planket and go for a walk along the water, and eat lunch or dinner at a beautiful spot. Clean toilets, lots of bins, also some public tables, good vibes. 10/10

Quite honestly one of the most beautiful and best free campsites I have ever been to. Lots of space, no noise, and a breathtaking view.

Great place, we stayed there for 2 nights. The road passes by but it is relatively quiet. There are toilets and water but I don't know if it is drinkable, as well as barbecues and tables. There are shady areas and enough space for caravans. However, it is quite windy in the evening but doable with a roof tent (advice: put yourself at the back of the park). Very pleasant place, I recommend it!

Nice but night ruined by young campers who played music loudly. This is what happens with busy campsites

L9vely spot by the water, there were 13 setups when we visied and easily could have fit more, toilets were clean and well sticked great photo opportunity, lots of birdlife and wonderful water shots
