Long drop loo, ok for quick stop but can camp around the back on red dirt. Trucks park on the bitumen. Ok this time of year, flies ok.
Even if you go quite far in there’s still a lot of road noise. Trucks pull in throughout the night for rest breaks. You also can’t go too far in at the moment as there are controlled burnings happening from now until October.
First impressions are that you couldn't stay in the layby area next to the toilet due to typical lorry drivers sitting with their engines on 24/7. Few tracks to go 0ff the road and next to picnic area. Flies galore of course, no mozzies so far.
All good even has fool reception
If you drive further into the forest, you have a nice place to camp. We were alone. Unfortunately we could not eat outside because of the many flies.
