New flush toilet and old drop down. Lots of space. Mossies. You can hear the gold plant in the back ground. 15 min from kalgoorlie. Telstra working pretty decent
Very nice conveniently located campsite for kalgoorlie however when i arrived toilets were broken, the road upto it is badly washboarded so wouldn’t want to take more fragile vehicles along it, but most of all flies were insufferable, hundreds of them everywhere, couldn’t open my van doors without letting 4-5 in, otherwise good stress free official free campsite
Beautiful spot which was also accessible with a 2WD. On Saturday morning some dirt bikes did come by they were fun to look at even though they were a bit loud. It’s very close to Kalgoorlie (ca 15Min).
It is a very big open area, some shades behind the bushes. Rocky sand is kinda hard to peg the tent. On the weekend, some atvs and dirt bikes hang around. Expect some noise.
Great free camp so much space, two drop toilets one by the benches and one on the way in. Nice and quiet, people have had fires. No to far from town.
Lovely place to camp. On the weekend we were there, around 15 dirt bikes rode through the area and campsite most of the day. I wonder how the council allows this clash between peaceful campers and hoons to happen?
Very spacious, plenty of spots to pick from. Drop toilets and bins and plenty of firewood around. The drive in is gravel and can be a bit bumpy at times but accessible with all vehicles. Limited to 3 nights camping per month. Good camp for Kalgoorlie, 15 minutes away
Good place to stay outside of town just as others have described. If you want a bit more time in Kalgoorlie then a diffent option to centennial Park which is only 24hr. Only a 15 minute drive back into town. We did alternate nights between the two.
The camp area was very large. Arriving the evening before yesterday, the nearby travelers had raised the campfire and warmly invited to share the campfire. The ground is vast, there are ample picnic tables, and the toilet is simple and clean. Because it is too late to choose the wrong area to build a tent, the ground is very hard and it is not easy to insert silver nails. But we still overcome everything, dining and camping under the stars, great place
Huge area with trees, bins, toilet even smelled good ? could hear a mine or something rumbling away during the night but not too loud.
