Stopped here one night, was spacious and quiet and even with a small fire pit. Would recommend.
Turn on Tourist Drive sign around 10k North of Mt Magnet. Turn right to Lennonville rail station and drive past to the small pool of water. There is glass on ground but some of the shiny stuff is small rocks. Lovely spot if self contained.
Try driving as far as possible from the road as the roadtrains make a lot of noise!!!
Turn off by the historic drive road sign, follow the road, and turn right and go past the Lennonville township sign. There’s a massive empty field for camping. Not bad for an overnight stay, but there’s tons of broken glass so be careful. WM ?? + AG ??
Not sign posted anymore, only as a History site. Not sure if we had the right place but did have broken bottles & skid marks from cars in the area. Might have been removed due to a near by mine...
Ok a little dirty but far enough from the highway to be quiet. Caltex has showers (for women it is in the disabled part).
Great spot for a quick overnighter while travelling. Free camp with no facilities. Lots to see in the area with crazy rock formations if you keep going along the tourist drive road. Camping next to the water was nice and we had 2 emus come by.
