Nice rest area with bbq and picnic tables. Can be a bit noisy at night. Toilets are clean. Lots of mosquitoes in the morning.
Ended up calling in here for a night as I got the creeps from another campsite I paid for. Clean flushing toilets nearby, playground, information board, seating, undercover bbq, friendly people over at the roadhouse (who make a bussin chicken burger), and bins. Being a camp / rest stop beside a highway, there will be some traffic and maybe a couple road trains pulling in late at night, but being free and close to amenities, it was good for me. I’d feel comfortable staying here again.
Nice and handy rest overnight area , as per comments below. Roadhouse closes at 8pm - we asked for showers but they said they weren't available. Public toilets available. No fire permitted. Kids campground and few picnic tables. Lovely cat around. Trucks will pull up at night, but overall is pretty quiet. Claudia & Claudia 🇦🇺🇮🇹
Cool, not too noisy, there are toilets, and we're all legal
Great over night stop. Cleaning flushing toilets, large area, shade, playground, bins. RV dump near by if needed. Roadhouse across the road. Close to road but quiet at night. Plenty of room for everyone.
We are in a pretty quiet campervan and/or it was quiet last night! The road trains stopped stopping at the roadhouse by about 8pm? The washrooms were clean (no shower). The bbq was great. The sites are mostly flat, better than some places we have paid for. This was a great spot!
Decent place for the night. Some road noise from the highway. Toilets clean. Stayed with several other vehicles. Felt safe & slept well.
Huge space, enough for more than 20vehicles, toilets were clean and maintained. We spent one night and was very comfortable, not noisy at all.
Traffic is continuous. Screening from tree and bushes and a few shady spots if that’s what you’re after. Road trains regularly pulling in. Playground, toilets, bp servo
Good for one night. There are free bathrooms and showers are locked (probably need to pay to use). There were 10 other campers and vans but a lot of space for everyone. There’s also a roadhouse with food and water if needed.
