Perfect spot for A night or more ! Plenty of space. You can make you own fire and enjoy the peace surrounding by wildlife.

Beautiful freecamp next to the river. Not enough water to swim though but good enough to get refreshed. Toilets are no good, I recommend you take a shovel and dig a hole. Barbecues and picnic table. Not much firewood so collect on the road. You can leave your van there while you explore bell gorges, only 10k from the turn off.

We were informed by Derby info centre / and booklet that this is only a day rest area no camping! But there appeared to be many camped there??? There are a few different free tracks/camps after Manning gorge/ Mt Barnett rd house to El Questro near creeks, rivers but stay up top away from the soft sandy ones.... Apparently salties in some rivers on the way to Kununurra too ??? So check and beware!

Overgrown. Toilet locked and I couldn't get to the tables as everywhere was totally overgrown. I felt uncomfortable driving into this rest stop. I normally don't get uncomfortable driving on most roads. I was probably the first person to use this rest stop this season, it will definitely need a grader for a clean up. D.T.

The toilett is not only disgusting but completly broken - you can't use it anymore! At least you have a nice nature spot.

We where there in June and it was perfect. Nice and quiet. Please if you sh*t in the bush, dig a hole...

I would rather dig a hole in to rock than use that toilet. Couldn't get in to the camp area so camped on the entry road. Large flooded puddles that'll trap 4wds, the only people to try to get in had to winch themselves out.
