Great spot for an overnight stay, corrugated road in but ok for all setups. 4wd is best, toilets and tables at the camp and its FREE

I visited this camp in august ‘25 and it is still very nice! Very quiet and don’t miss the walk around the Wolfe Creek!

Nice campground, very quiet, only toilet not water. After the second gate you can take an alternative road on your left which is nicer than the main one. Corrugated road with loose stones so be carful with other cars as they drive rapidly and we got the windshield cracked due to a stone hit by other car.

Single and double campground areas.Check board as you drive in.Has toilets no water. Can walk to crater from campground. Three gates to open and close Road very corrugated in sections.

Good camping area, short walk from the crater. The road is fine, just the last 10/20 km of corrugated road, we did it with an AWD ? and was ok.

Good spot! Semi private allocated camping areas with a short walk to the Crater. Only downside is very limited shade.

Road is absolutely fine. Just a dirt road with some small sections of corrugation in the last 10km. Don’t need to deflate at all. We took our caravan without any issues. Campsite was great, clean toilets and big camping spaces and fire pits.

Campground for free. Only Dump Toilet. Very nice spot! Close to crater. Roads are Outback road- drive carefully and you are right. Not only cars use that roads. There was a motobiker on the Campground. We enjoyed the quit place in amazing atmosphere

Each site is surrounded by foliage giving it a little bit of privacy and shade. Was very busy when I went. Road in was very corrugated. The crater is quite amazing. The second biggest in the world apparently.

There was nothing wrong with the camp area, but the road that leads to it is the worst ever. I lost one of my spotlights and the aerial of my UHF because the road was so bad.
