The upper campground has better views and a short path to the beach but there's only few spots, early filled. There's another section on the left when you arrive, though you don't see the ocean and you have a longer walk to the beach. The track is bad only for the last 7 km with heavy corrugation and some rocky parts to take slowly.

Best free spot, designated camp areas nice and sheltered, 4wd access only, the beach is quite soft, caravans can get in there. The track in is ok but rough in places, long drop toilet, day area with bbq is great. Trevor the unofficial host is quite helpful and friendly, you’ll pass his camp on the way in, stop and say hello he’ll show you around especially if you have a caravan & not sure where to go. Happy hour at the day area starts around 4, take a couple brews up there & enjoy. .

Great camping & amazing location. Just be mindful when going there, as you need a 4WD and even then with our van we’ve had trouble getting there. Dird road knows lot of steep roads and soft sand. Local volunteer is very helpfull so no need to worry being there by yourself! No phone signal at all.

One of the best free camps I've ever been to. Only with 4WD accessible! Long drop toilets provided and bbq/cooking station. A guy named Trevor (unofficial host) looks after this place, have a chat with him when you go there! Such a nice guy that looks after that place, feel free to donate some money to keep his good work and that place running.

What a lovely little piece of secluded paradise! Absolutely worth the drive in here with 6-7 sites to choose from. Definitely recommend if you want some quiet and peaceful camping. Toilets available and lovely caretaker. The beach is nice but the ocean a bit rough

Amazing place to camp! We arrived late at night and the friendly caretaker found us a spot. Just in front of the beach. The way there is an unsealed road and it is very roughly so you would need to drive slow, but it is totally worth!
