Only RV!- it‘s NOT possible if your are Selfcontained (we had portable Toilet, Shower and Containers for grey & Blackwater) with a Rooftop-tent to stay there.
Great place to stay. Easy to obtain permit online, you can also get it in person at the visitors centre in town. 7 vehicles max, & well defined spaces. Extra campers stayed & parked in non-permit spaces, not sure if anyone checks? Felt safe & slept well. Great to have free parking options in town!
Great location. Is in a car park behind Bunbury surf club. Easy to book online for a permit. Toilets and cold showers in public toilets on beach not that far away. Surf club does meals (sit in or take away) until 8pm. Quite a bit of road noise.
Great place near the ocean! good facilities at the parking lot
Update there is still parking at this site. Drive past there Sunday night and quite a few vans and motor homes there
There are 3 free Rest Areas in Bunbury, which can be booked through their website on visitbunburygeographe —> https://visitbunburygeographe.com.au/listing/bunbury-rv-free-rest-areas/
Save yourself the trip. The information is either out of date or incorrect. Unfortunately, there is nowhere (anymore) to stand here
Be aware!! There was a guy trying to get in our camper last night he proceeded to other vehicels too and flipped all mirrors (approx. 6-7 campers)
This site is actually 400m up the road on the other side of the road
Great spot in carpark 20 metres to beach 400 metres to amenities. Beautiful views of sunset from walkway seating.
