Stopped in to inspect for future camping travels. Tasted and bought some wine. Had a lovely chat with the owners. Camping area is near the cellar door, nice and convienient for those who love a tipple or two. Nice grassed area to park on, peaceful and quiet. Ideal for short stay only if you are fully self contained. Plenty of room between campers. No charge for camping however be courteous and buy wine of your liking for the stay. Pets by arrangement. We will be back.
Well worth a stop considering its free if you buy wine which was really nice ( am not a Chardonnay drinker but liked theirs. Best port i’ve ever had so bought 2 red ports even though others rave about the white port ….
Lovely spot, obliging and welcoming hosts. Wine is eminently drinkable, :) , quiet and peaceful. Must be self contained. Worth a visit. Gravel access road is well maintained.
What great hosts and obliging people Pam and Terry are. Good access for us being 13.4 m overall. If you are in a bus call ahead and Terry will let you in a different entrance which has longer vehicle access. Please help out if you can on this small private winery.
We were kindly refused on the campsite because we had no shower or toilet (even for 1 night). It is not worth coming if you are in tent, 4x4 or van.
Fantastic spot must be self contained...Pam and Terry great hosts.. We have been here 4 nights all for the cost of a bottle of good wine
