The easy and flat acces is closed at the moment. You will have to go over the railway and turn right. Not suitable for vans at the moment.

Very nice area with plenty of space and peaceful despite the trains but they didn't bother me at all. Access past where the GPS tells you at first. A little dirt road just across the train tracks. It was very rough in some places and a bit muddy so 4wd only unless there's a different entrance I didn't see. There were quite a few other people around but since the area is so big there was only one other person within sight of where I was

If you follow google maps it sends you down a road which has a closed gate and is private property, drive one further and that will give you access to the nature reserve. Heaps of camping space, great for walks and 4x4 tracks. Nice and tranquil. Perfect telstra phone service and pet friendly. Definitely recommend unless you are a light sleeper. Trains come by all day and night and some honk (I think to let the consealed roads know there is a train coming since there are no boom gates). It did not bother me whatsoever, totally worth the place

Lots of space, pet friendly, by the river. Yes close to train truck but it didn’t bother us. Def recommend for a night or two. Happy camping!

Nice enough camp... But adjacent to a train line! I recall at least 7 freight trains... Add to that a couple of kookaburras... A very long night!
