The office is closed all day only open for an hour, theres a clear sign saying call for assistance when its closed. The lady who answered was incredibly rude and condescending on the phone acting like it was inconvencing her to have to answer. It really put me off, ive not once had that from a campsite in nz. Ended up finding somewhere else, didnt want to pay for that amount of rudeness. So just be warned and prepared if you arrive outside of 5pm-6pm and have to call

Lady who received us was great and the facilities clean. We stayed one night and slept okay. Kitchen functioning and clean, showers hot, all okay.

Lousy place. Expensive. They clean once a day when the campsite is full for the kiwi season. The wifi signal is very low and slow. And when you go to pay they tell you that the price has increased.

The kitchen is perfect if there are 10 people in the campsite... The owner will always say how much you have to pay before asking how you are... The campsite is very clean, the showers need to be redone.

Showers are the weak point. Really average and impractical. Clean kitchen and 2 fridges available more local to store his stuff.

Super friendly owner and cheap rate but site full of kids working on the fruit farms so lots of late night and early morning noise. Plot was kinda tiny, stinky and on a hill so no chance to get level. Lots of people permanently living on the site too. I’m sure it’s ideal if you are on a working holiday. It served me ok for a night but I wouldn’t go back again.

Great campground. I've stayed here for nearly 4 months during kiwifruit season. The owner is a good guy, helped us with car problems. The price was 85$/week including wifi (slow if many people) and hot shower. Great bbq area. You can play football, basketball, volleyball or even mini golf there. There is also swimming pool. Near the campground is beautiful NewDick's beach. Definitely recommend.
