Not what I expected but this was one of the cheapest holiday parks in the area with their winter special rate. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were so friendly and chatty. The sites were clean and as were the toilets and showers. Staff were coming around every 2 hours or so and cleaning the kitchen so even if it was left dirty it didn’t stay that way for long! Great place, definitely recommend.

Stayed in quite a few top 10s and this has to be one of the best. Everything is very clean, staff is so very very nice, facilities are excellent and very close to any of the tourist spots in fox glacier, highly recommend.

Nice park with clean facilities and plenty of great activities for kids. The playground was unfortunately very muddy during our stay. We felt $90 for a powered site was a bit overpriced. One thing we only discovered the next day was the glow worm track. It would have been great if reception had mentioned it when we checked in, especially as they knew we were travelling with two kids, so we could have enjoyed it at night. Overall, it's a nice park and good for a one-night stay.

We spent a night. Camping 100% recommended. Hot water douches, very clean. Large and equipped kitchen. Living room with ping-pong table and billiards. We liked that in the laundry you could pay by card. If you are thinking about staying in the area I recommend it.

Great experience. Clean bathrooms. Most laundry machines working. Nothing to complain about really.

Nice location, more peaceful than FJ glacier, little walk up to the town with a few bars, food options, a little shop and fuel station. Facilities are fairly basic but clean and well maintained. Sites felt a little tight and needed manoeuvres if you have a big vehicle.

Beautiful location with views of the moutains. We were travelling with three young children so disappointed by a very muddy unusable playground. Powered sites are very narrow and low shower pressure. Otherwise a lovely site.

Would have been a more pleasant stay if: the bathrooms were properly cleaned (clogged drainage causes issues) and there was more than one functioning washing machine.

For 1 night ok, large kitchen without dishes, bathroom ok. city easy to reach.

Basic but pleasant site, good facilities. And close to a lovely walk and cafe at Lake Matheson. I’m sure it would have had amazing views but it was raining and cloudy when we were there unfortunately. Nice spa pool that you can hire for 30 minutes
