Wonderfully experience and the owner is the kindest person on earth

Usually not into these thing but it was a lovely experience and the farm lady was so nice! The wallabies are sweet and friendly you get to feed them and pet them.

What a place ! If in the area , would really recommend. Although invasive species and a pest , Gwen has been nursing baby wallabies ( mothers shot or hit by cars) for over 40 years. For some , it’s the only way to pet a wallaby and they are all tamed.

It was absolutely lovely meeting the charismatic owner Gwen and her cute wallabys. Such a memorable visit, Gwen took her time to show us around. You don’t have to be afraid of the animals and can take as much time as you’d like. 15$ per adult were definitely worth it.

Highly recommend! We were given a big bag of wallaby treats, instructions on how to approach them, and were sent out to meet the 30 wallabies in their paddocks. Great experience at only $15/person.

This place is really lovely and you should definitely pay it a visit if you‘re close to Waimate and if you love cute little animals. You can feed and even pet the wallabies. Gwen is a lovably old lady which explains everything nicely and you see that she really cares for her animals. You get clog shoes to enter the enclosures so you don‘t take possible contaminations with you to the wallabies.
