Lovely, friendly staff and locals and great food and the pub. Good little grassed place to pull up for the night. Safe and secure. Can highly recommend 👌

We didnt find it at first because it seems just like a parking spot for the hotel guests.We had to ask inside the hotel where the campsite is.. they asked if we are SC and then they allowed us to park on the little grass spot next to their hotel (on the left of the hotel).We parked the night there but at 7:30 trucks were driving across the grail road so we woke up... Spot is okay but if you could drive further, do it...

Great stay feels real safe nice staff at the pub great meals

I was in doubt at the beginning cause completely alone there, but after a short talk with the locals in the pub I stayed and felt safe all the time - I can recommend ?

As lay-bys go this must be as good as it gets! Beautiful views to three sides and some cows to entertain the kids. Full recycling centre too but very quiet considering this and the proximity to the road. No facilities.

Good spot to spend a night. No facilities at all but great little pub full of friendly people. Suggest you have dinner there, we did and had a good night. Great pub food and not far to walk "home"! Highly recommended.

Right by the road,so can be noisy sometimes,but ok for a free spot. Didn't know that it was the gravel spot opposite the hotel,so we asked inside and they allowed us to stay at the side of their carpark. Mind it was winter an no one else there,but maybe an opportunity if the gravel opposite is full?be sure to ask nicely!
