Camped here as part of my Whanganui River Journey. Toilets were disgusting. Everything else was fine. No phone service, but plenty of grass to pitch up, and there was water available with a foot pump (although recommended to boil first).

$20 is much too much for a piece of grass

Org if you found them. Otherwise very nice campground, flat and shady. Nice shelter too. A short steep staircase to reach the campground.
