The trees are huge! kahikatea are just astonishing, mamaku, ti kouka. We walked from the campground to a paddock and bridge.

Great to see some large Kahikatea, Totara, and Rimu trees. A nice wander around the pathways. Unfortunately is being overgrown with wild Ivy.

If you walk into the forest, you can either take the loop or the river walk. Choosing the loop, you can choose a path named "the stumble" at one point, and from there on, there's a lot of super cute small paths and clearings with adorable names! I would highly recommend it, it's magical.
