The buildings were a great depiction of the Nelson area and lovely. A couple of shops have moved into them and are working their businesses from their which is sort of strange but bet than a bare building. The staff were wonderful and informative. Lived the general store, it bought back many childhood memories of my Nannas house.
This place was really fascinating. I very much enjoyed exploring! 10/10
A bunch of junk from 150-20yo in only some builings, no real time period. Local shops have moved in, no real way to know if you're in their private workshop or a display until you get chased out. Takes an hour, only because of the strange route they send you. Not worth $7 or stopping for unless you're waiting for something in Nelson.
Great beer.
Nice little place that has like little buildings to show you the history of Nelson. A fake bakery, fire house, general store, mail shop and church. An old train station as well. Very cute to see. If you like a bit of history it's a good way to spend like an hour here. It is free, you can just walk in. In some of the buildings there are volunteers that can tell you more about the history. Very informative. Feels like you are back in time.
