You should go to the lake Hayes reserve for parking, down Arrowtown/ lake Hayes road. Easy walk 8,3 km around the lake. Take a swim as well.
very nice hike or walk!! Great views of the impressive landscape :)) We didn't know exactly where you were allowed to park, so we just stood on the meadow in front of the entrance to the path. Wasn't a problem!
