Handy for Milford Sound. We stayed in early August, and only 1 or 2 other vans there. We had space 81.. at end of bay, next to the river, and close to toilets. All plots seem v level.. and quite a lot of space each. Imagine it may get busy in summer… but was perfect for our 1 night stop b4 Milford sound trip (1hr away).
Good for milford sound, nice views, multiple toilets which are clean.
Great location to spend the night, lots of seats, several clean toilets and tables. We also did the DOC just before: “Kiosk Creek” which was less good.
There is no network here at all. But felt safe even though we went in at 8pm. View in the morning was great! - Did not use any facilities
Good spot near Milford sound as a night stop over. Great location amongst the mountains, toilets ok. Fine for a night, paid online. Felt safe
Very pretty spot to stay overnight headed to Milford Sound. My boyfriend and I felt very safe staying there. For $18/person you’d think the toilets would be cleaned/upkept but they were not and had way too many flies.
Book online before arrival only; there's no cell service on site, so you'll have to drive until you find a signal if you haven't booked in advance. Plenty of campsites. Located 1 hour from the cruise ships. Numerous restrooms, but we didn't use them. Lots of weasels and sandflies. $18 per person, too expensive for what it is.
The toilets reek and are full of insects. For $18 you would at least expect some decent facilities.
The area is dreamy, the rest does not go. In the toilet houses it stinks bestially. There is not even the possibility to wash hands. For $36 for 2, it offers too little for us.
No phone signal however 10 min drive to Divide Carpark where there is signal. Toilets okay and a tank with running water. $18 but worth it for the location. Really great for accessing Milford Sound and various tracks.
