Our second time in this spot. Nice and convenient to Wanaka. There are lots of campers, along with some who are set up permanently, but there’s still plenty of space. Cheap for a night close to town.

Large, peaceful camping area with no bookings needed. Pay $14 per person on arrival at the entrance box (card or cash) and find a free spot. Flushing toilets. Great base for skiing and hiking. Laundry and shower facilities available behind the Four square across the bridge ($4 a load) coins needed.

Good price for what you get! Toilets were clean. Large site with a lot of spaces. Site with flush toilets is $14pp now

Great camp site. Noticed that the cleaners were drunk while cleaning the toilets but manager was nice. 12$ per night, which is cheap. Toilets, but no power. There is one lady that lives in a tent by the trees, be careful as she asked people for things and takes advantage of people. Otherwise great place. Very dusty in summer when the wind picks up. Hot showers behind Four Square just across the bridge. And a place to wash your clothes etc.

Great spot with loads of space. Multiple portaloos on site but no other facilities. $12pp and payable on arrival by card. Great option if freedom campsites are taken. Little bit further from the centre but only a 5 min drive and there is lots of 4hr free parking in the centre
