Ice cold and no privacy. Don't bother with either of the Kaiteriteri showers listed on here, go next door to the Kaiteriteri Recreation Reserve, we got beautiful hot showers for $5 per person, unlimited time. They were super friendly too. I think you would have to go during their office hours though, but we did a full day hike & sea shuttle in Abel Tasman and still returned on time.

Regarding the women's restrooms: the shower curtain is no longer there, but it remains perfectly functional and has a faucet, so it's very practical. The water is cold. The fact that the shower is inside the restroom block (with toilets and benches for a changing room) still allows for a bit of privacy. Very clean. Right across from the magnificent beach.

Incredible beach, toilet and shower block right across the road. Clean toilets and cold shower with a curtain - great for rinsing off after a dip!

Nice beach but way too many people in high season and there are even nicer beaches!!

Beautiful beach and we went into the national park with abel tasman sea shuttle, they were great.

Love this beach!!! Great on a hot day!

Mist beautiful beach ever

Great location to have a swim with plenty of toilets and shower available

Stopped here for breakfast - great little seaside town

I havent seen a more beautiful beach here in nz. Each day it's different due to the tide.
