You can walk across to Awaroa 2 hours either side of low tide. Well worth a look over at Awaroa and beyond.

Road in bad conditions, nothing to do there ... If you dont have s boat, dont come!

Way there is gravel road. Sometimes sandy and be careful if it rained the days before the streams you have to cross grow. Parking space with toilet are directly at the inlet. Most beautiful when it's sunny. Take care of the tides.
