VERY cool beach! But beware the road to it is pretty rough! I made it in a wingroad, but probably wouldn’t risk it again. The hike to the beach was 20 minutes and relatively steep. Once you arrive it feels like a small private cove with lots of pretty rocks, and a small cave on the far right side of the beach. Definitely worth checking out if you have a sturdy car!

The most beautiful beach I have seen in the North Island. The way to get there is a bit complicated, a long rocky mountain road and then a short 20-minute walk in the forest. The ground is slippery in rainy weather, and there are quite a few ups and downs. But really the beach is worth a thousand times this trip, there is even a small cave to explore.

Looooved this hidden beach! It’s beautiful! Totally worth the drive thru the hardest gravel road I’ve seen but our Toyota lucida handle it. 20 min walk, the return is harder. I’m not kidding you HAVE to go:)

Oh my god, this place is amazing! Bite the bullet and drive down the gravel road (we did it in a Toyota hiace and we saw everyday run around cars take this track also) and you will have to walk about 30ish mins down to and beautiful secluded beach! we had the whole place to ourselves!! awesome little hike (a bit steep but nothing crazy) and the rewards are REAL! STUNNING.

We really recommend this place!!! This beach is truly amazing! Today it was just us there. It is a small beach along a bay. Really beautiful with the forest around it. There is a small cave which is a few metres deep and ends in the sea. The walk towards this beach is really steep and some places a bit slippery! Be carefull and wear good footwear!
