Not suitable for a rooftop tent as it is literally on the roadside

Safe and clean spot. A drop toilet available and lots of parking spaces. A bit noisy and lots of light as it’s right next to the highway, but was expected.

Noisy at night because of the cars driving by. 1 drop toilet. It has a few picnic tables (with roof), no barbecue. Good phone signal (felix). Stayed for one night. It is close to Canberra.

Spent three nights here whilst exploring Canberra. Well lit, so you'll need curtains if sleeping but good for safety. Drop toilet with no seat or lid and small basin with a trickle of water to wash hands. Next to highway so quite noisy and cattle grid on side road gives off a great bang when driven over. Covered tables and chairs, WWII history and kangaroos

We stayed here for a couple of nights, it did the job. Had a drop down toilet and benches for a picnic. Had good phone service here too. Has a nice restaurant not too far away called the Eagle Hawk Hotel, great vibes.

Convenient for sleeping close to Canberra but noisy. Toilets and tables. Very little shade for the car.

No water in the sink Toilet is a Hole in the Ground. Lots of noise from the higway and there is a rifle range just on the other side so there is loads of noise. Would not recomend staying here for more than 1 night

It was nice for a rest area. For sure there a nicer spots to sleep.. But here are a many cars at night and I felt very safe (we always sleep with open doors).

Small free camp with toilets + water tap ( no suitable for drinking). Close to the highway so noisy but good for one or few nights. Possibility to sleep in tents on the grass.

Nice rest area very close to the highway. A bit noisy and with a lot of light, but I was happy to see that there were a lot of people resting for the night here, I felt safe. There's no water ( tap not working) and toilets are very very basic with no flushing or light.
