The gate was closed. There was a sign saying that from November to March it’s closed due to fire risk, but it was April 5th and it was still closed.

Great spot. We pulled up and there was rubbish every where and a big fire still going. We passed 3 cars on the dirt road coming in. Assuming they left it all there. After cleaning up and getting their glass bottles out of the fire it is a great spot

Seasonal reserve. Closed during winter. Can get very busy during summer. Beautiful little spot suitable for tents, beside car camping and small vans. Over ten kilometers of dirt road, maybe 4WD only when very wet. Hidden gem.

The reserve is open, you enter through a gate at the cattle yards on the left a few hundred meters before the locked gate to Junction Reef Mine. Sign says Bakers Sharft Reserve

Definitely no access, road gated off.
