would not recommend, spent a few nights here at start of last year & very eerie. Night one was okay, night two I was held at knifepoint by five grown men in an attempted carjacking! as a young, solo female, there’s no way i can safely recommend this spot, especially after learning from the police after the fact that this rest stop is often utilised by undesirables for shady dealings.

I’m not even sure if you are allowed to park overnight here. There are signs saying no camping but I’m not sure if they refer to overnight parking too. The toilets are absolutely disgusting. I didn’t end up staying here because the place just had a really strange vibe. It seemed abandoned.

Parking at the inflection Milthorpe Rd on Mitchell HWY, clean drop toilet. Much traffic in the morning. Okay for an overnight stop.
