Found our way to here last day after a long hot day of travelling. A lot of people/ vans/ tents, but still room for more. All the shady spots around the river banks were full. We were comfortable in the middle of the large open space but no reprieve from the heat until the thunderstorm about 10pm. Very narrow flat bridge to get in. Would be great to be here when it is less popular.

Great spot stayed 2 nights swimming in the river about 6 others here huge area don’t worry about the sign when you drive though the gate JW

10-03-2023 A Great Ad-Venture Zone. Cangai Bridge is a “MUST DO” swimming, camp fires, large grassy areas. Fantastic scenery. Very clean and tidy when we were there, LETS ALL PLEASE KEEP IT THAT WAY

Was awesome. A few caravans about but so much space we were far away from everyone. A 2k dirt road in but track was fine. A few cows on the track on the way out but didn’t cause any problems. So peaceful and beautiful.

One of THE best free camps on the coast. Beautiful spot beside the Mann River. Kids spend Hours playing in the water Kev from woolgoolgaoffroad

Great spot, must be self sufficient, fun place to pan for gold

Stayed here last week for 2 nights . Lovely spot . No amenities, just a nice scenic quiet spot . Was still warm enough to swim in the river. Nice fire at night .
