very quiet and peaceful spot right by the river with lots of spaces to choose from! we got there around sundown (5.30pm) and had no troubles finding a lovely spot! would highly recommend :)

A lot of toilet paper and rubbish following the October school holidays. Not teaching their children well. I picked up and burnt a lot of toilet paper and brought two large bags of someone else's rubbish home. If you want to camp at Lilydale bring a portapotty and if you cannot take your rubbish then stay at a caravan park.

Stayed 14th August 2025. ZN-459. MID WEEK STAY Large area runs along the bank of the Clarence River. Very relaxing spot to sit and watch the river run by with a good glass of RED. Open fires, cattle in the neighbouring property, lots of room to spread out, peace and quiet, night time has a million stars view. No facilities, you must be fully self contained. Telstra 1 bar Optus 4 bars

Right by the river. Huge area with undulating grass sites. Plenty of flat sites to be found. No toilets or water or water need to be self sufficient. Very poor phone signal

Lovely quiet place , not crowded at all , perfect for some private and nice times. Make sure to keep clean and be respectful. Very recommended.

Beautiful little rest area. Busy but not crowded. If there's a toilet here it's well hidden. Telstra reception was pretty spotty but Vodafone worked well enough to stream the Friday night footy

Lovely place next to a river. Heaps of space! No amenities tho.

Great little spot about 30minutes out of town! Be self sufficient theres no facilities! who’s complaining for a free awesome location like this

One of my favorite camping

Slept here last night as I didn’t want to sleep at a rest area. And this was so lovely and chill. I had my own space by the river. There were some kids riding their dirt bikes around till quite late. Nothing earplugs didn’t fix. Definitely check this out if you’re looking
