Great camp spot away from main road. Great amenities and showers . Donations welcomed. Camped with van, tent and dog. Fantasric oval for my son to kick a footy.

Great spot to stop! Limited tent area but most people were in RVs. The ground is pretty dry and hard and grass is limited so bring a thick mat. Perfect for pets as we could run the dog around on the oval.

Amazing place to stay few days. Really hot showers with good pressure. Plenty space to park with shade.

It's a lovely place, full of birds and trees... Not so happy about the rough looking guys that seem to be there permanently (hopefully not!)... My partner was told he needed to pay to access the power, fair enough! He was then told he needed to pay THAT particular person (named Eli) $5 so we could both have a shower.... Inside the amenities block there is a sign stating that it is a 'free camp ground but a 5 dollar donation per van per night is appreciated'. This guy was beligerant and had been drinking, was not a nice situation at all. We have our own toilet so thought $5 was a bit steep for two showers, but we paid it because this country is burning and in drought! Eli didn't seem to care about that as he was redirecting water from a building through a hose that was leaking at an alarming rate! He is also tapping electricity through an untested tag across the road from a building to his camp.... The incident was reported to police and the water wasting reported to council..... Eli and his friend have beaten down trucks hauling old caravans on the back as well as dogs hanging around. They are camped near the amenities block. If you encounter them there, stear clear and do NOT give them money

Great place to overnight. Clean pleasant toilets and showers. So good. Next to green grassy oval. Good coffee shop in town (Syviers). Does a decent cooked breaky. Decent coffee.
