Bit of gravel to sleep on right next to the highway, near some other houses so felt safe. Toilets present, they are drop toilets, not flushing but do have a lid! Also no light so phone torch required. Spot to wash hands with no soap. Bin, table and chairs and that’s about it. Scouted the sneak off place people mentioned in comments, I’d only go there in daylight hours to sus if your campervan could do the surface as it isn’t flat

This place is basically just a rest stop, not a camp site. Yes, there are a few picnic benches, a trash can, a sink, and two dodgy toilets, but the parking area is just a large space for doing just that - parking and sleeping. Some people mention a place just past the parking area down the road on the left (and then an immediate right) down by the river. This spot is ideal to keep form seeing the many passing car lights as the main parking area is right next to the highway. However, the spot here is only about 50 meters down that road. It is a gravel road. Once you've turned into that gravel road from the main road, DO NOT turn left. It really is just a small stretch. If you turn left, you'll be right at the rivers edge and it appears that you could even slip into a small pool in this dry river (see photos added). So, don't turn, just park and you'll be great. One last thing to mention is that the stars in the night sky are absolutely amazing here. It really blew us away... I thought I was sitting in a planetarium! There's a great spot down next to the river bed where we stayed. It's down the road to the left then a right turn immediately. Far enough down from the highway to be out of view and a little bit quieter. Toilets are okay but there's not much else here. Lots of possums scurrying around at night though.

Rest Area close to the Highway but no noise after 7pm. You can sleep on the morning thanks to high trees. Toilets are regularly cleaned and there is a tap with drinkable water. A lot of birds around :)

Good for a quick stop to recharge the batteries very close to road clean water from tap to fill the water tank if needed then back on the road.

Pretty noisy, close to. Hwy. Good for a night and filling up the watertank.
