We have stayed here a few times and it has always been a good experience. The car park is free for 48hours and it is recommended to get a permit from the tourist information. Use the toilets in town as the homeless are using the toilets opposite and they are in a poor condition. All cafes, museums are a short walk, people are friendly and helpful!
Very Good Place to stay for one Night
Great stopover in the middle of town. A couple of permanent stayers but they kept to themselves. Toilets across the road. Very nice place to stay but very busy.
Very friendly people at the information centre gave me the permit without issues. There are limited places available, and the office closes at 16.30h. Not sure if the permits ever got checked. Toilets on the other side of the road, clean enough.
Technically you need to be fully self contained (own toilet and shower and contain all waste water) and get a permit from info office to stay here. However there are plenty of people here without permits and not fully self contained so even if you don't meet the requirements might still be worth a shot
Great for sleeping, people are very friendly!
Excellent free place to stay. Make sure you get a permit from the information centre (ladies there are lovely and gave loads of information about local things to see and do). A few homeless people around but they kept themselves to themselves. 48hr permits but can go back for more if you want. Local toilets just across the road.
Good spot plenty of space, night lights too, are showers but are a bit how you going. Would recommend
Good place to sleep 2 nights, I suggest to park as close as possible to the police station. On the other side of the street there are bathrooms and one shower for free. Mary Poppins town!
Great spot. The homeless are quite entertaining
