It says SC only, but we stayed for a couple separate nights in our rooftop tent and didn't get in any trouble... follow our example at your own risk of course! The train and traffic sounds weren't so bad. A few covered picnic tables + a tap (not sure if drinkable) across the street, as well as toilets.

A great free and safe spot to park and sleep. There’s a public toilet across the street and the IGA and bottle shop are just a 2 minute walk away. I parked under a tree next to a grassy patch so could hear the birds and had a cheeky bush turkey greet me. Yes there are trains but I only heard them at 9.30pm, 3.30am and 6.30am. Not a big deal at all, just wear earplugs if you’re noise sensitive. The air was fresh off the grass in the morning and my van cooled right down at night. Highly recommend

A safe feeling spot but the trains are LOUD. We slept in a roof tent so we woke up every 2 hours when a train went past, especially when they beeped. It’s a real pretty spot with kookaburras so bring ear plugs and you might be fine?

Yes it’s a parking lot. Yes right next to the trains, last train on a Saturday night was around 11pm after that it was very quiet. Good for just an over night stay. 11 campers, caravans etc.

It’s a parking lot. Train doesn’t ride at night. I felt safe and toilets are across the streets!

Parking lot area, some trains are passing by so a bit noisy when they do, doesn’t last long though, toilets across the road, do the job for one night, only 3 vehicles when we went, good phone signal

Great stop for a night or 2, toilets across the road are very clean and you can walk to everything in town. There’s a water tap near the bus shed and it’s only a few minutes to the highway. It’s right next to the train line but not really a problem as they don’t run all night .

Good stop, however only one small area with shade. Bathrooms are literally one cabin, they were across the road close to the library but well maintained considering when we stoped over. Overall a good stay for the night but wouldn't recommend staying longer Internet service was great
