It’s important to note this is a truck stop primarily, camping is right up the back leaving the main parking area for trucks to have their mandatory rest times . The trucks do run their icebox overnight which is noisy , so park away from this area .
It’s not a Shell it’s a Caltex. Lovely staff. Clean facilities. Free hot shower. Just turn your key in and you get the key from the shower. Lots of space to park.
We had a lovely night’s stay. It’s next to a very busy road and train tracks, but it didn’t bother us in the slightest. We had free hot showers. Toilets were cleaned in the morning. We were very happy with our decision to overnight there. (Camping)
Heaps of room behind roadhouse, showers and wifi. Food and drinks are quite expensive
If you arrive by night and you can't see nothing, the campground is behind the fuel station. Showers are still there and are perfect!
Free campsite and warm free showers, perfect :)
Stayed 2 nights all the way up the back went up to Blackdown Tableland National Park for the day JW
Plenty of space. Right off the highway so there is a bit of noise from all the trucks but it isn’t to bad. Free Hot showers and a place to get a meal that is open all night should you arrive late and don’t want to cook.
A looooot of space. Toilet/shower clean. But really noisy trucks come and back all night long. Let their engine and generator on all night. Park further as you can but don’t expect a quiet night. Close to Blackdown park tho
Great large area behind the Caltex. Free shower was awesome
