has bloody free wifi. when do you ever get that at a campsite, let alone a free one. Toilets where clean on my visit.

Very nice place, of course, free camping for all types of tents and caravans, no year-round residents. Drinking water, clean toilets. I recommend it. There's a small lake with turtles, fish, and ducks, ideal for a short walk.

Quiet place and few campers. The toilets are 5 minutes away on foot. Road nearby a little busy in the evening and morning.

This is a lovely quiet location just on the outskirts of a lovely little town. Clean toilets and lively little park just over the swing bridge. Both thumbs up to you Laidley, will definately come back and stay as we travel through this area.

Great place to stay. Off the road and very quiet on a night time. Clean toilets at either side of the creek. Would definitely stop off here again.

Lagoon is an optimistic way to describe a murky brown creek. Nevertheless, this is a decent enough site. There is parkland on both sides of the creek and the highway - four sections altogether, one of which is the Lions Park. Good flushing toilets here and decent ones on the other side of the creek. Heaps of sheltered picnic tables. No idea if you’re allowed to tent camp here, but I suspect not. I slept in the car and it was fine.

On both sides of the lagoon, there are actually two free campsites on the edge of the highway, each with a toilet, very clean, both have picnic tables, and there is a children’s playground and parking lot, both of which are free. There are many big turtles in the lagoon, as well as many unknown waterfowl, grassland and green trees, and there is water in the toilets. Our elderly couple stayed by the lake in a tent overnight without mosquitoes and flies. The only flaw is that there are cars passing by on the highway at night, which is a bit noisy. The residents around are friendly, thank them for their unpaid work.

We arrived Saturday morning. Only 1 other van here. Spent the day relaxing with a few glasses of vino by the lagoon watching the birds, a friendly family of ducks with new ducklings and the turtles. Just a short drive from town. Great location. Toilets available and quite clean. Across the road from the Pioneer Village which is worth the visit. Sunday morning we woke to be the only van here. Will definitely visit again.
