Great amenities, very tidy operation. Thanks to all
On the quiet side except for highway traffic, but not so bad at night. Clean amenities and camp kitchen. Pets ok.
We arrived very late but still managed to get a spot for the night. Very friendly, not expensive, and plenty of space! The only downside: Unfortunately, there are a lot of mosquitoes here, and they even try to get into the bathrooms. All in all, a great stopover!
Very large campsite, so there are definitely plenty of pitches available even at short notice. $32 for an unpowered site.
Arrived unannounced after closing time hoping to get a spot for the night. Phoned the after hours number and the office lady was Lovely and checked us in straight away Shower block clean and great water pressure. Heaps of room to spread out Outside camp kitchen was fine just byo cooking stuff
Stayed here for one night. The bathrooms were great, big and clean! I had the best shower!! A little noise at night due the road in front but nothing that would keep you up at night.
We stayed there for 1 night. We arrived when the reception was closed but we called beforehand. Eduardo (Eddie) was super helpful and stayed untill we arrived (in the pouring rain). That night our campervan got stuck in the mud and we decided it to leave it for the next morning. Again, Eddie was there with a big smile to help us out with shovel and jack to pull us out of the mud. Definitely recommend this place, super hospitable and amenities were absolutely clean and more than sufficient!
The office was closed at 5 p.m.!
Disappointed, bins not emptied in 4 days which were well over flowing, toilets not cleaned each day, unit run down, with no supplies, would not recommend
Great campsite, lots of places to camp. Simple camp kitchen but very clean and with everything you need. Shower and toilet also very clean and almost new. $25 for one night (2 adults) without electricity. 20 minutes from the center of Townsville. I recommend!
