Nice free camp. Arrive early to get a spot. No internet, annoying flies. But the boulders are right next door for swimming.
No reception. But good spot. Nice evening walk doing the boulders. Nice large area that can get tight with 5/6 large campers. Free cold showers and a toilet so what more do you expect. 5km drive to get signal though. If you want signal maybe stay at rotary or cheap gordonvale if you wanna be closer to Cairns. Excellent for 1 night though. Technically no tents, but the rangers don't seem to mind
Beautiful spot! Big private sites and clean amenities. No reception though.
Few places, so arrive on time. Near the river. Cassowary walked past the camper! Beautiful nature. No reach, toilet not the cleanest. Cold shower available
Small area but great place and the swim was amazing
Okay for one night. No phone service and lots of flies and mozzies. Nice theres a shower but its cold water.
Toller Campingplatz. Mitten in der Natur und nur 2 Gehminuten zum Badeloch Babinda Boulders. Duschen und Toiletten am Campingplatz. Vorher buchen und früh da sein. Wir waren 3:30pm da und es waren nur noch 2 Plätze frei.
Great spot but as soon as we got out of the car, we were swamped with march flies / horseflies :( didn’t stay long and instead went to the campground at the Rotary Park in town. No flies there :)
Love the spot, but not great this time of the year because of all the March flies. Unless you like to get bitten 😉. After one night we went to the free camp in town. No March flies there.
A nice little spot right by the boulders. If you want a good spot get there early afternoon but I imagine there would be room for everyone who’d look to stay the night. There’s a toilet, shower and a tap. No phone service unfortunately.
