Beautiful, if crowded campsite. Very family friendly, there were lots of kids and dogs around. No complaints, even if everything was sopping wet because of recent rain.
Beautiful place to stay, really nice view the only bad things are the flies
Beautiful spot with lots of space to camp, either on the lakefront or back under the trees. We loved our stay here, it was so quiet and calm. The birds are interesting to watch with their antics! The toilets are fine and there is running water (you'd need to boil it first though) I'd highly recommend this camp. You pre book online. Would definitely come back.
Great spot. Bit of a party when we were there but that's just a few rowdy teenagers kicking on. Had some old bloke (albeit with a glorious mullet) say that the rats are insufferable and will eat your fuel lines, and some other doomsday nonsense. It's not true, they're not even rats, they're betongs and they're completely harmless. Didn't find them to be invasive to the camp-site either. 10/10 would reccomend. Seems to be drier than the rest of the tablelands as well.
Absolutely wonderful place to stay at Downfall camp @ Lake Tinaroo- I stayed here with my small Caravan- Stunning Lake Front views only six Metres from my Caravan. . Beautiful wildlife - cute pacific Black Ducks along shoreline - that greet you daily - Clean Toilets available- Campsite very well maintained by Qld National Parks rangers … Highly recommended for singles or families ., I’ll be back .. ♥️?♥️?♥️?♥️?♥️
What a great spot, rangers need a big thank you the place is a credit to your work, raining most of our time but still loved the place had a good drive around lake and out to other sites . Thanks
Excellent spot right at the lake!

Amazing spot! Not crowded even in high season. Toilets, no shower.
