Great camp spot overnight. Expect wind but there's the beautiful scenery to compensate!
Out of all options from 1st Scenic Lookout to Border Town. This is the one, hands down.. Unforgettable experience right by the cliffs. Perfect for those who are self contained. Easy to access, far enough from the main highway, and loads of spots to choose from along the cliffs for privacy. I was surprised to also get good Telstra coverage, big win. With brilliant coastal spots like this, wind is part of the package. Deal with it.
Perfect for an overnight stay, wonderful views, very spacious. No facilities, but very clean.
A great place to stop overnight near the cliffs with plenty of places to accomodate a large number of vehicles. Spectacular sunset and ocean views were amazing. No facilities here.
Camped overnight very windy ,saw 2 rooftop tents had to pack up and leave . More suitable for caravans ,motorhomes Spectacular view despite how windy ,no internet service
We stayed the night here on the cliffs along with 2 others. A beautiful spot and not too windy. It did have a sign not to drive onto the cliffs because of falling rocks. The cliffs are eroding. We kept well back from the edge!
Large space but neither water tank no bins. Beautiful lookout though!
Great view! No water and no shadows
Absolutely gorgeous views. We were lucky to not have any wind overnight, No mozzies, no ants just perfect stop to stop up. No facilities, you need to be self contained. Very clean, you would need to watch children and pets carefully as the cliffs are steep. Remember this area also has dingos. We did not see one here but we did have one approach up on a rest area along the Eyre highway. Very sneaky buggers, we didn’t even see him until he was a few metres away ? Would definitely stay again
Non water
