We ended up staying here since most other rest spots seemed too close to road train traffic. It’s 10 minutes off the highway and it’s near a small town church and community centre. There’s a tree stump and old farm machinery acting as a sort of museum piece. Really quiet spot. We were all alone here all night.

The tree is still in the shed. We stopped for lunch here and would use it at a pinch for an overnight stop. Not exciting and clise to a quiet road.
