There is nothing there,even the club has shut down.

I don’t think this is a free campsite. It’s a spot to park your caravan and enjoy the town. Probably should be removed

Camped overnight. There are no signs saying you can, apart from one saying you cannot camp. Tried going to various campsites near by but booked out by private mining company. Had a ok nights sleep, bbqs nearby and also toilets about 500m away.

This worked fine for us. Toilets, water and a picnic area all close to the central amenities. This place is close to a school and playground so up and away early would probably be polite to the residents. Tourist information very helpful.

Located at the sports ground. Entry is off Olympic Way. Toilets were all locked. Nearest toilets are near the Tourist Information Centre, 800m away. Drinking water is available. Gravel surface.
