Solid spot right by 10/10 insane beach
Beautiful place. Plenty of campsites. 10km off-road and very rough.
Great spot, over 40 spacious and level pitches. It was empty at this time of year. The access road is in good working order. Several short walks nearby. There's no water or showers, but several clean toilets.
Difficult to access (3km of gravel road) you have to drive very slowly but it is doable. You then arrive at a multitude of small, very pleasant camping areas, close to the square. Privacy guaranteed, I highly recommend!
Some campers are permanent. I had a bad impression and left. The access road is dirt but in good condition. The campsite is poorly managed. Overall I do not recommend it, there are other nicer places.
I'm very secluded site with access to beach and basic toilet facilities although the basin taps weren't working on our visit. The access road is gravel and very corrugated for the last three or so kilometers but traveling slowly with caution in our sixth birth camper was fine.
Has good reception
Great place to stay! Short walk to the beach, with beautiful views. Sunrises are epic. Large sectioned off individual camping spots. Went on 18th Jan, and were a few spots still free. 2wd large heavy van and had no issues. Just had to dodge some potholes!
Great place to stay a while caravan friendly and easy access to beach has toilets 10min drive to St Helen s has drinking water big ? up
Great campground, short walk from the beach. Loved it here, just remember to take some toilet paper.
