Magnificent view of a lake with hundreds of birds (a bit noisy at night). It's worth arriving early to get a good spot, as many locals already stay there. Plenty of sites are available, with picnic tables. There's a building with pay showers ($2 for 5 minutes), but it's very pleasant to have hot water. There are also regular toilets with flushing. It's best to use the restrooms during the day to avoid insects.
Great free camping space. Bring some toilet paper for the public toilet block. We used this as a stop over to and from Melbourne. Highly recommend.
Huge campsite. Nice bathrooms and there are bins everywhere. Showers are now $2 for 4 minutes.
A beautiful gem, right beside Green Hill Lake, hot showers, clean bathrooms, bbqs, fire spots (you have to bring your own wood), a few pic nic tables here and there and plenty of spaces. I doubt it ever gets filled up, even in summer. Perfect cell reception with Optus. The one and only downside I'd say is the noise level: right next to the M8, and lots of "residents" that have a permanent set up with generators. But honestly, a minor inconvenience considering everything else.
Yes 10/10 beautiful spot, warm showers, clean toilet, walking track around Lake- leave a donation so that this spot remains beautiful
Amazing place, toilets, hot water, a lot of space, fire spots, 10/10
Stayed 2 nights perfect level and dump point as well plus water JW
The best free campsite we'ver been to. You have everything you need, even hot water. Toilets and showers are clean. There are campfires and seating facilities. In the lake you can swim, there is a playground, outdoor gym and bbq area, many garbage cans and trees.
Don't stay in this park when it's raining, doesn't take long before you're surrounded by water. You can get bogged.
Free campsite with hot showers and toilets! Site not powered but there is electricity available in the toilet block
