Great base for 2 nights right beside the main road but very quiet at night right behind the Portland tram depot which I recommend to travel on into town as it is a hop on and off and the pass lasts all day only suitable for self sufficient vans and motor homes with own toilets monitored by local ranger and water facilities available to top up water tanks thoroughly recommend.

What a find. Pu lic toilets are spotlessly clean and smell amazing. Even has doggy poo bag dispenser for the furry friends. Aqua Park next to it. Lovely flat sites to park up the camper. Definite RV friendly town.. what a wonderful find this place is

An amazing place so close to the shops and harbour, almost level grassed sites, good dump station, good fresh water and the cleanest public toilets we have seen for ages, a real compliment to the reserve staff.

Great spot for large Motorhomes, large grassed area with clean drinking water next to large green shed. Clean toilets 2 minutes walk away nice dog park next to tennis courts. Nice and close to the town centre 10 minutes walk great forshore park and tram ride stops at the rv park. Take the time to have a look around great city jetty a bit windy to go fishing but plenty of evidence of squid caught. January they have a festival on great for your kids.

We (two people) stayed here with the camper for one night on February 23rd, 2024. The place was already very full at 4:30 p.m. It's not far to the city center. We would come here again.

Wir waren für eine Nacht dort. Sehr guter Patz mit gut erreichbaren, öffentlichen Toiletten, die sehr sauber sind. Sogar die Chemietoilette des Wohnmobils kann dort gelehrt werden. Duschen sind gegen ein Entgelt von 3 AUD im nahegelegenen Schwimmbad möglich. Auch ein kleiner Hundeplatz ist dabei. Die Innenstadt mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten kann man gut erreichen. Empfehlenswert!

Great place to stay. Clean toilets, dump station available and even good WiFi (at least if you stand to the right of the train station). Only a 5-10 minute walk into town.

Great free camping ground! I stayed here for one night. This is the first free camping ground between Melbourne and Portland on the great ocean road and it’s really busy here. Come early if you want a good spot. There are mosquitoes after dusk.

One of the better free camps ,we spent 2 nights ,clean toilets clean grounds fresh water and even a dog park right there, tram worth a ride had a meal at the rsl which was fantastic and an easy walk from the camp, thankyou Portland

Thank you Portland for the RV free camping. The area was spotless and we enjoyed our stay.
