So what is the stigma about tents , you can be totally self contained , you know they do make portable potties, tubs for washing up , which then go into the dump point. We are an older couple who do own a caravan, but on this trip to NSW we have to tent it. You can be self sufficient with a tent. Sorry Kambalda will give your town a miss , unhappy with your thinking only people in RVs can be reliable citizens.
Great swim for free!
Kathie at the pool is a Jem for the area.. fantastic 48hr stop free swim and shower and a lovely welcome with local advice to all the facilities 😀👍
This place is a ripper!! Head to the taven to give a little back to a free spot. Public toilets but the caravan/van needs to be self contained and you must have a grey water tank underneath catching all water. No tents/camper trailers/sleeping in car. Definitely recommend. BW
Next to the free camping area is a. Large playground and a very fair priced clean swimming pool. Great value and hard to compete by most paid campgrounds.
Another great place and only a short walk to toilets and shops. Please read the rules like other places must be fully self contained with a grey water tank. The dump point and water tap are not far away so a great overnight stop.
Lovely, safe, free camp for a self contained 24 hour stay. Great little spot right next to playground, skatepark and outdoor pool. Short walk to grab a coffee! We loved staying here the night!
