We knew the camp from the last time, everything was still clean and working. Large, bright areas, a wonderful place to stay overnight and hike. Many thanks to those responsible
Absolutely awesome free camp. One of the best we’ve seen during our trip through Qld NT and SA. Congratulations to the local shire for providing such a wonderful camping area. Flushing toilets, gas bbq, camp kitchen all stainless steel and hot water for washing up. Love love love it. So quiet and peaceful.
Nice spot plenty of sheltered sites. Awesome toilets and facilities. We had 2 nights there and enjoyed it immensely . People were friendly and welcoming. Only downside is a bit of traffic noise as it is close to the road. Overall highly recommended.
A short drive from Perth. Spent the long weekend here with about 2 dozen other vans and still plenty of room. Toilets very clean and wildflowers sign very helpful this time of the year. Didn't realise this was once a town, history plaques were an interesting bonus. Granite walks and brilliant stary nights an absolute highlight. BYO fire wood, don't destroy the trees.
Check it out today - a reco trip for my impending caravan jaunt to the area. Yep - she is a beauty. Stay here for sure.
Great camp area. Big sites for vans. Walking tracks around the camp ground highlight the locations of the old town buildings and sports fields. Spotless flush toilets. Designated areas for vans and tents.
Charming free camp with all amenities (very clean toilet, small cousin with gas and sink, gas BBQ). We recommend it!
Its only there because they wanted to stop the camping at kokerbin rock which was a magic camp site but no camping now but a must visit if you stay at this site
Nice camp with lovely kitchen (brand new, stove, drinking water, no seating), toilets, picnic tables. Clean and quite. Close to the road, but no noise in the night. We couldn't believe it is for free.
